WordPress使用者角色和許可權，在常規管理員（Administrator）是最強大的使用者角色。Editor在后台中具有編輯角色的使用者可以完全控制您網站的內容部分，作者（Author）-顧名思義，具有作者角色的使用者可以編寫、編輯和發佈自己的帖子，接下来还有貢獻者（Contributor）。貢獻者可以添加新帖子並編輯自己的帖子，但他們不能發佈任何帖子，甚至不能發佈他們自己的帖子。最后呢是訂戶（Subscriber）具有訂閱者使用者角色的使用者可以登錄到您的網站並更新其使用者配置檔。
